History of Batu Caves Malaysia



Batu Caves (Tamil: பத்து மலை), is limestone hill, with a series cave and temple cave, in Gombak district kilometre (8 stone) northern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . It takes his name from Sungai Batu or Batu River , that flow pass hill. Batu Caves is also name nearby village. This cave is one of the Hindu temple that is most popular outside India. specific to Dewa Subramaniam. It is centre Hindu during celebration Hari Thaipusam in Malaysia.

Limestone which form in Batu Caves alleged produced around 400 million year ago. A few entry point cave had been used as sanctuary by aborigines Temuan that also linked Batu Caves with story Si Tenggang.
